Makan Asam Garam

Initially a proposal for an exhibition of etchings, “Makan Asam Garam” developed into a multi-month collaboration with Gudskul Ekosistem and Grafis Huru Hara in Jakarta. What began as a show of prints became a broader cultural exchange project: setting up a functioning etching studio, sharing techniques, and working collectively across roles. The exhibition emphasized process - showing test plates, failed aquatints, and tools alongside finished works - and ultimately included a tutorial video, zine manual, talk, and workshop.
