The Scroll (2017 - ongoing)

10 cm x 9500 cm, watercolour, etching, oil, poster paint, on paper

The Scroll is a 10 centimetre high ongoing work on paper which presently spans 95 metres. Begun in 2017, it records nearly 9 years of life and commitment. As the piece ongoing, a long life could see the scroll reaching a kilometre.  The Scroll is understood as an artefact: an attempt to capture, clarify, and search for pattern within the chaos of lived experience.

The Scroll is the measure of one person's life

and an ode to the passing of time.
